@IRWildebeest Honestly, at this stage of your project, I expect any exposure to be a plus. I printed a couple out to have sitting out at the shop for people to handle, along with simple pamphlets for anyone who might be interested. It can't hurt!

Found someone selling a model of the Wildebeest on eBay ebay.com/itm/3894752125… apparently it's been in a movie? Should I be flattered or peed off someone's making money (or not) off my model or is it good advertising? I gave the 3D model rights away, so no hard feelings : )

@IRWildebeest Heck use it as free advertising. Hopefully more is able to come from the project! I know the limitations of being a one man show AND the laws down under are quite the hurdle.

@WeaponsVault one of my favorite prototype guns made by a single person. I wish you could put a suppressor on it but the barrel tilts in a very weird way.

@MarkSerbu In my State of Victoria, Australia, they have now legislated a machete ban because of the killings and woundings with machetes by youth gangs. Using laws is the easy go-to solution for politicians in Australia. Rather than solving the real problem.

From 1980-1996, Australia had a handful of mass shootings, in spite of having around 3.5 MILLION guns. 14 years after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre and huge gun restrictions, gun ownership levels were back to the same number. Yet somehow the mass shootings stayed very low. An 8-year-old can see there's no correlation between numbers of guns owned and mass shootings, yet the Australian government is choosing to "solve" the problem with more gun restrictions. I predict it will have no effect, just like it had no effect before.
