Fair. And maybe they do obey ERAM in some sense. But I think the idea that they were originally made by Alphys within the context of Catpetterz and she lost control of them or they just like a virus spread from her session of the game to others and then to DWs i think is possible. Creator/Controller distinction I think is necessary. Either we accept the blogs as canon and referring to FRIEND and therefore Alphys is their maker. Or they're not and she isn't. I think they are, but I also don't think she has any fucking clue what they're up to any more or has any context about dark worlds or anything.

I don't think the Deltarune fandom is mentally prepared for the moment we get a Light World battle against Susie maybe right before the Roaring begins. The Undertale battle UI appears, and the music kicks in with a reprise of VS Susie mixed with Battle Against a True Hero or Hammer of Justice or probably both. I could totally see the track being called Battle Against a Real Hero or even Battle Against THE Hero. I also imagine a second Susie fight borrowing mechanics and attacks from Gerson and Undyne the Undying. It would be very very interesting to see what an Undertale style battle from modern Toby Fox would look like. Vs. Good thing about all of what you said is those are things with actual referants and specific meanings. All of those motifs you could show me on sheet music what all of them are unamiguously. 'FREEDOM, PENUMBRA PHANTASM, BIG SHOT, WORLD REVOLVING are all hyper-abstracted buzzwords with no actual referant or definition inside the scope of Deltarune. So, you talk about the song concept without sounding like a meme quite easily, is my point.

Guys I have a Deltarune theory

I have a very very contrarian thing to say about certain discourses. No one ever actually asks Kris's pronouns at any point in the game and we never directly hear them responding to anything at all. We and Hometown are all collectively assuming their pronouns.

@dessaw53 Chapter 3 unironically the coolest fucking chapter. Fuck the haters, fuck 'replayability'. That chapter had all the lore, all the aura, all the hype moments, AND all the emotions and themes and such. God Chapter 3 is great.

@fortnitebussy1 I hope when it is fully out you have to play it in order and unlock each chapter one by one. The FF7 Remakes and a bunch of other games have a post-game chapter select that no one has ever complained about.

"DELTARUNE letting you start from any chapter is bad" doesn't make sense to me. It's obviously because this game has been releasing over the span of a decade and people Will inevitably lose saves. It's way less annoying
