Gift of Time was started during my residency in Marfa, Texas. What stayed with me during that month in the desert wasn’t just the landscape, but the feeling that time moved differently. After a few days, everything slowed down, and I became more aware of each moment as it passed. This piece exists because I was given that time — by @artblocks_io , @opensea , and above all my family. It’s my way of saying thank you. The work follows that idea. It moves with time, constantly changing. Each second, minute, day, year and beyond brings something new. It draws from different ways we measure time — from calendars to moon phases — reflecting how humans have tracked time across history. It evolves as time passes — just like we do. 48h left to mint Broken Dreams! To be an immaterial piece of digital artwork that lives on-chain, we’ve traveled a lot together! 😅 We took off on a plane to Barcelona (I opened the mint mid-flight 🛫), where it was displayed at the @ResponsiveDream festival. Then we crossed the ocean — and the desert — to Marfa, where it was showcased on the PostParams panel (with @RyleyOh and Lindsay) and displayed at the @artblocks_io Artist Fair. Now, in just 48h, I’ll close the mint from my home in Galicia, Spain. What a ride!! Grateful to everyone who’s joined the journey. 🙌🏼

This is the last week to mint Broken Dreams — after that, NEVER AGAIN. Today I wanted to highlight Broken Dreams #53, live-minted by @bryanbrinkman with me during the @artblocks_io Art Fair in Marfa. It was great meeting Bryan there and talking about the project! Broken Dreams evolves endlessly using on-chain Ethereum data — each new block subtly transforms the piece, making every dream a living artwork. After an amazing @artblocks_io Weekend in Marfa, I’ll soon begin the closing countdown for Broken Dreams. As promised when launched, this was always meant to be a timed edition. There’s still so much left to show you from this collection, starting this week, I’ll begin showcasing a few individual pieces. ✨ First up: Broken Dreams #35, owned by @tonyherrera. Each Broken Dream evolves with Ethereum’s block number. Over time, new coordinates are added to its geometry — some ephemeral, appearing and fading away, others permanent, becoming part of the dream forever. In the comment below, you can see a comparison between how it started and how it looks today. The dream’s evolution began on block #11341538 (the block when Chromie Squiggle #0 was minted). This video was captured at block #23646124 — can’t wait to see how it will look next year… or in ten! As you can see, this Broken Dream has the pixel rain activated 🌧️ That’s because Tony also collected my previous project, Forecast, and since there are 5 Forecasts in the same wallet, this dream generates a 5-pixel rain ☁️✨ A small networked link between both collections. 🌐

Now, all 14 palettes are out in the wild. At least one of each exists. An anon collector just minted 3 new Broken Dreams 🙏, & the last one revealed the final missing palette. 🌈 And yet… there’s still so much left unseen. So many things can happen in the outputs...
