The EPP Group strongly condemns the unprovoked Iranian missile and drone attacks against Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates and calls on Iran to immediately cease these assaults. This is a senseless escalation against countries who had declared their neutrality in the conflict. We express our solidarity with all these countries targeted in the attacks and commend the efforts of their governments to safeguard their territory and infrastructure, protect their citizens, foreign residents and visitors, and maintain stability. We reaffirm our strong support for the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council and underline that their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity must be respected.
