Croatia declares it is officially #MineFree 🇭🇷, completing nearly 30 years of clearance under the Ottawa Treaty. Thanks to the generous support of our donor community, ITF is proud to have helped clear 30M+ sqm of land, making communities, forests & livelihoods #Safe again. 🌱 We welcome Croatia’s ongoing support for #VictimAssistance, #Advocacy & international #Cooperation. Clearing land is just one step - the work doesn’t stop here. This milestone reminds us that with persistence & partnership, a mine-free world is possible. 💪

The project Mitigation of Risk through Demarcation and Education has begun with the first field visit in Odžak, BiH 🇧🇦 ⚠️ A newly identified 500,000 sqm mine-suspected area will be marked and communities engaged to share local knowledge and strengthen mine risk #awareness. The RMAC building in the south of Lebanon 🇱🇧 has been fully renovated, with modern offices, CCTV, solar power panels, and vehicle areas 🚙. This upgrade strengthens RMAC teams’ ability to carry out explosive hazard operations efficiently and safely. We thank the United States 🇺🇸 for supporting this transformation and the Lebanese Armed Forces’ RMAC staff, whose dedication ensures the facility delivers real impact for the communities they serve. @usembassybeirut

Funded by the 🇪🇺, #LandRelease operations are ongoing in six municipalities across BiH 🇧🇦 - Drvar, Ilijaš, Hadžići, Ključ, Pale, and Teslić. More than 10 million sqm of land affected by mines and unexploded remnants is being addressed. @EU_Commission

The panel featured Dr. Aleš Musar, spouse of the President of 🇸🇮; Ms. Olga Rudnieva, CEO of the @SuperhumansCenter; Dr. Martin Schuldes, Head of Division for Peace and Security at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development; and was moderated by Amb. Tomaž Lovrenčič, Director of ITF.

Today at the @MunSecConf #MSC2026, ITF hosted a side event focused on supporting victims of the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦, with particular attention to psychosocial & #MentalHealth support. 
The discussion highlighted the work of the @superhumans_com, where #Rehabilitation goes beyond physical recovery to restoring purpose & dignity.

Last week, we were honored to welcome a delegation from the @TheProgressives Group in the European Parliament to ITF HQ. We presented ITF’s #Mission, our work in Ukraine and Palestine, and projects carried out with EU support 🇪🇺. Thank you to MEP @MatjaNemec for the opportunity to exchange views and discuss continued cooperation 🤝.

🇭🇷 Croatia is in #ITF Management Board represented by Assistant Minister of the Interior dr Damir Trut. Highly appreciated the opportunity to update him in Zagreb on ITF project priorities for 2026 and efforts for additional donor mobilization for ITF work worldwide 🌍.

Republic of Korea @MOFAkr_eng 🇰🇷 is one of the most important donors for ITF #Humanitarian projects; those in Bosnia Herzegovina 🇧🇦 stand out for their success and visibility 🙌. A great honour to brief Amb. Seungbuhm Lee on their impact & plans ahead!

Teachers gained tools to support children affected by trauma, parents received guidance, and volunteers were trained to offer peer support - strengthening care from within communities ❤️‍🩹. With support from @MZEZ_RS 🇸🇮 and partners NGO Zhiva-Ya & @SloFilantropija, this work continues despite ongoing conflict. #SlovenianAid
