Powerful stories at #WSIS on “How ITU-D & Partners are Transforming Lives in Rural, Remote & Indigenous Communities” highlighted how blended training across the Americas & Africa empowers communities to turn digital skills into tailored ICT solutions that bridge digital gaps.

A timely conversation at #AIforGood on the emerging landscape of open source #AI hardware and the quest for open GPUs. The session explored the opportunities these technologies create for innovation, digital inclusion, and sustainable #AI development globally.

The joint @ITU-@UNESCO #WSIS Action Line C4 session on "Rethinking capacity building and digital learning for today and tomorrow's world" shared impactful multi-stakeholder digital learning initiatives and explored pathways to close worldwide digital skill gaps.

Great session today at #WSIS on revisiting the core ICT indicators for the WSIS vision and today’s digital priorities. The Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development discussed indicators that could be used to help monitor and measure the implementation of the WSIS Action Lines

At #AIforGood, partners shared updates on the Early Warning Connectivity Map, developed with @Microsoft, @planet & @IHME_UW. Drawing on the implementation in Liberia & Venezuela, the session showed how connectivity data can support early warning systems & strengthen resilience.

Convening Action Line C7: e-Environment at the #WSIS Forum today, @ITU, @UNEP and @WMO explored how digital transformation can drive sustainability while reducing ICT emissions and e-waste, and strengthening resilient connectivity, early warnings and disaster risk reduction.

Valuable discussions unfolded at the #WSIS Action Line C6 session “Benchmarking for Better Digital Policies”, which showcased the @ITU Digital Readiness Framework and explored how regulatory platforms such as the Digital Regulation Network strengthen digital governance.

Pleased to announce the launch of “Leveraging AI to Enhance Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems” at #AIforGood, our new flagship report developed in partnership with @UNDRR, @WMO, and @IFRC, through the #AI Group of the #EarlyWarningsForAll initiative.
