It's the time of the year when you offer people alcohol, and they tell you they don't drink, please leave them alone. Respect, and honor their boundaries. Don't try to know why they don't drink like everyone is meant to drink or evangelize alcohol to them. NO is No.

I am an introvert. This means if I see you in public and have a chance to pass by without you seeing me, I will take that chance.

people forget that Christmas didn’t start in a manger. it started with a family tree. and not a clean one. stay with me. matthew doesn’t start with angels or a manger. he starts with the names. why? because God wanted us to see who He came through. Abraham. the man of faith. also the man who lied out of fear and slept with his maid because he couldn’t wait on God. promise still intact. Isaac came. then Jacob, the scammer brother who stole a blessing and ran for his life. God didn’t cancel him. he renamed him. then Judah. one of Jacob’s sons. he slept with a woman he thought was a prostitute. plot twist: it was his daughter-in-law. that child? still in Jesus’ genealogy. God didn’t pause. he kept writing. then Rahab enters the story. an actual prostitute. not religious. not Israelite. she believed God once. just once. and that belief attached her name permanently to the lineage of Christ. let that sit. then Ruth. a moabite. a foreigner. from a nation Israel didn’t even respect. she married Boaz. their great-grandson was David. yes, that David. the king. the psalmist. also the man who committed adultery and arranged a murder to cover it up. God still didn’t erase the name. solomon followed. then kings. good ones. terrible ones. the kingdom fell. prophets warned and people ignored them. then… silence for years. until God spoke again. not to a king. not to a priest. to a young lady, mary. pregnant. about to be misunderstood forever. joseph traced his lineage back to David. mary’s bloodline did too. legally. biologically. prophetically. the promise met flesh. God didn’t bypass humanity to save it. He entered it. through scandal. through outsiders. Through women people whispered about. through men religion would cancel today. Then finally a baby. not in a palace. in a feeding trough. That’s Christmas. Not perfection arriving. Redemption stepping into a broken family line on purpose. if God wasn’t afraid of that lineage, he’s not afraid of your story either. 🤍

things I DON’T want in my future house: 1. yelling and fighting.

I need to work on being a better friend. I’m just naturally distant and can unintentionally go long periods of time without talking to anybody. I’m tryna break this habit but it’s hard when you’re a real life hermit.

If your phone charging connector is a USB Type-C, you need this information before you plug your cord to random charging outlets next time. If anyone carrying a block that looks like a ‘power bank’ asks you to unlock your phone and help them confirm if their type C charger is working (they’d lie that it’s not charging their phone), please DONT DO IT. The new scam in town is they use the tech device (that has the look of a power bank) to clone all your files (photos, videos, chats etc). Their aim is to basically clone your phone with the device, with future intent to use it to blackmail you or steal from you. However, the scam won’t work unless you unlock your phone. Unlocking gives the device the access they need to transfer your files. Why am I sharing this information? We are currently handling a case like that with the police. A guy invited a lady he met online for a movie date, during the movie, he told the lady that his USB Type C cord is not charging his phone and asked if he could try the charger on her phone. The innocent, unsuspecting lady unlocked the phone for the guy, and continued with the movie. About 5min later, the guy passed the Lady’s phone back to her saying he forgot and they moved on. Few days after the date, the guy began blackmailing the lady with private files from her phone that even her couldn’t remember she still had them. Henceforth, before you connect your USB Type C to a ‘power bank’ or ‘charging outlets’ without your adapter (charging brick) please ensure you set your phone to not charge unless unlocked. Or better still, get your own powerbank.

We are those parents that will lay praying hands on our children in the midnight hours, right? Right? I’m so looking forward to it. Not only that, they’ll also learn to join on some nights.

nobody talks about how emotionally unavailable people act like communication is pressure. you can’t ask simple questions without them shutting down. you can’t say how you feel without them saying they “don’t want to talk about it.” and it’s confusing because you’re not trying to start a problem, you’re trying to keep the relationship healthy. but when someone isn’t ready to be open, even kindness feels like confrontation to them.

My proposal rules: -Ask my parents blessings - Check my Pinterest ideas for THE ring - Make it a surprise - Uses my full name - Get down on one knee - Have somebody to catch on video and photos - No big crowded spaces - Make sure my nails are done - No holidays or mundane situations - keep the ring fancy - don't propose me on my birthday/graduation..
