A straight PC GPU to PS5 Pro comparison also misses plenty of nuance and context, PC users have access to a much wider range of system features and alot of other things combined. The PRO is the best console pick but value is in the eye of the beholder

Addressing the PC Launcher Rumors: A lot of rumors have been circulating online that PlayStation is making a PC Launcher. I want to make it clear that this is not true, unless it's for multiplayer games only. As described previously, it's not really a launcher for PC but they are making an All-In-One Streaming Service App that will allow you to stream a selected Catalog of Games, Movies, Shows, Anime, & Music from the Cloud/Sony Servers. PlayStation is ending the program of porting their future 1st Party Single Player games natively to PC for download. To play future PlayStation 1st Party Single Player games on PC, you would need to subscribe to the upcoming Sony Subscription Service to stream the games, over the Internet, to your PC. However, new games will not go into the game catalog day one, they will continue to come 1-3 years after release, to protect their console business. They are done porting their games to PC except for multiplayer and streaming. If you want to stream a new game to your Phone or PC, it would be through a similar system that already exists where either: 1️⃣) You buy the game on your console or the upcoming Streaming Service App and stream it from your console to your PC or Phone, where your console acts as a server connected to the Internet, via Remote Play, at no additional cost. 2️⃣) You buy the game on your console or the upcoming Streaming Service App and pay for the higher tier of the subscription service and stream it from the Cloud/Sony Servers to your PC or Phone. 3️⃣) You don't buy the game but you pay for the higher tier of the upcoming Subscription Service and you wait until the game is added to the Sony Subscription Streaming Service Game Catalog at a later date, likely 1-3 years later.

This is definitely a community driven rumour, but I'll indulge it. They are pulling back from PC due to low sales and potential risks to their Console driven brand. So instead, they are decided to ditch Steam for their own launcher? Sony launching a PC store today would be like leaving the biggest mall in the world to open a shop in an empty parking lot. The sales they had on steam would be significantly worse; there's no chance the extra 30% would make up for that. Want to make sure your live service games dies day one? Put it on your own launcher. Going day and date for their single player games was never in the card. Suggesting this now, when the company is going into the direction of exclusives, is a farce.
