"MISSION JOY: IMPOSSIBLE NO MORE" A high-stakes race against time to bring playgrounds to the children of Svalyava and Chynadyiovo Orphanages. Mission Briefing: "Agent Horia, your mission—should you choose to accept it—does not involve stealing secret files or disarming bombs. Instead, you are tasked with delivering something far more powerful: joy. Your objective: to install two outdoor playgrounds in the orphanages of Svalyava and Chynadyiovo by June 1st. The clock is ticking. The children are waiting. Failure is not an option." Act I: The Stakes (Desperation and Hope) Svalyava and Chynadyiovo: Two orphanages where children dream of simple pleasures—like swinging, sliding, and laughing in the sun. The Reality: Empty courtyards, worn-out equipment, and a childhood stolen by circumstance. The Challenge: How do you turn barren spaces into kingdoms of adventure in just a few weeks? The Gadgets (Tools of the Mission): The Playgrounds: Not just metal and plastic, but tools of transformation—weapons against boredom and sadness. The Logistics: Transport, assembly, and the element of surprise—all synchronized like a Swiss watch. The Team: Volunteers, donors, and partners—unsung heroes making the impossible, possible. Act II: Execution (Tension and Triumph) Day Zero: The equipment leaves the warehouse. "72 hours until deadline." Obstacles: Rough roads, customs delays, and a race against time. Key Moments: Arrival in Svalyava: "First playground assembled. The children watch with wide eyes, unaware of the surprise awaiting them." Chynadyiovo: "Second playground complete. Time: 14:59. Mission almost accomplished." Act III: The Impact (The Reward) June 1st, 15:00: The grand reveal. Screams of joy, laughter, and children racing to claim their new playground. Reactions :A 7-year-old boy in Svalyava: "Now we have a park, just like in the stories!" A caretaker in Chynadyiovo: "We don’t know how to thank you. You’ve brought light here." Mission Accomplished: "Agent Baciu, you did it. You turned two empty courtyards into worlds of joy." Epilogue (The Final Message): In this world, some missions don’t require explosions or high-speed chases to be heroic. Sometimes, all it takes is a playground, a group of children, and an open heart. We are fundraising to provide Khartiia with critical transport vans. Logistics keeps the front moving. Please support the mission below. You can donate here: paypal.com/donate?campaig… Vehicles are a commodity. We've tracked vehicle losses in Ukraine for years, including light-skinned vehicles such as vans and pickup trucks. Those who follow us know and understand the attrition rates. The scale is immense. In the first 22 days of April alone, we tracked 931 losses in this category (cars, pickups, SUVs, and vans, combined). As our followers know, video analysis captures only a fraction of the total losses. While some of these vehicles are ultimately recovered and repaired, many are abandoned, stripped for parts, or destroyed. This is the reality of war. Support for Ukraine means funding and supplying these vehicles. Why Vans? Cargo In → Casualties Out Inbound: Vans protect sensitive cargo, such as electronics, from dust, mud, and rain. Outbound: Once goods are delivered, these vehicles provide a protected, enclosed space to evacuate the wounded for treatment. The Goal: $100,000 We are raising funds to purchase, repair, and prep vans for Khartiia and another secret special unit. The budget covers the purchase price, mud tires, spare parts, and technical preparation required for front-line deployment. This is the first fundraiser spearheaded by my data collection and mapping project, Ukraine Daily Update, in association with volunteers at Tochnyi. To ensure total transparency and professional logistics, we are partnering with Liberty Ukraine, which will handle the backend and 501(c)(3) status.
