Things I discovered on my journey into data analytics: 1. your laptop is enough to start 2. YouTube is free school 3. You cannot fully learn data analytics with just your phone, you need a laptop 4. Kaggle has free datasets to practice 5. remote jobs don’t care where you are 6. one good project beats 10 certificates 7. Excel is not basic,it’s underrated 8. having an accountability partner makes the journey faster 9. your accounting background is an advantage 10. nobody started knowing everything 11. AI is part of the job, use it 12. consistency beats talent every time 13. you don’t need a Computer science or mathematics degree to get hired 14. your first project doesn’t have to be perfect 15. the data community online is very supportive 16. starting late is still starting save this for the person who needs it 17. Excel is broad 18. Data Analytics is broader
