It's really impressive all the knowledge accumulated. It's not just impressive. What is clear is that the various destructions of civilizations, that of the Bronze advanced very, Sumerians - Akkadians - Babylonians - Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Minoans - Hittites, Mycenaeans (previous Minoans). All this accumulated of science, architecture, arts, mathematics, astronomy and medicine... which in the end was destroyed and much of all that knowledge was lost. Not everything, but almost. And what will happen to us? Either we don't take care of it, or we lose it.

The ancient Sumerians, living over 6,000 years ago in Mesopotamia, were pioneers of civilization, yet some of their discoveries remain astonishingly advanced even by modern standards. Such evidence suggests that advanced biological and medical understanding may have existed in a time we usually consider prehistoric. Whether these carvings are symbolic, mythological, or literal records of knowledge, they force us to reconsider what ancient civilizations might have known about the cosmos, life, and healing. The Sumerians, long credited with inventing writing, mathematics, and urban planning, may also have left clues to a level of science that challenges everything we thought about the ancient world. Some scholars believe these tablets may combine observation, myth, and symbolism, creating a record that is both scientific and spiritual, blending human curiosity with stories of beings from the heavens.
