Match 17 Cray Valley (Paper Mills) 2-0 St. Albans City Good little set up at Cray Valley. Enjoyable game and a top draw freekick to open the scoring

@coyd88 @PloughLaneByNum The late subs is probably my biggest frustration with JJ. I don't blame him for keeping a similar team at Stevenage given the run we were on, and coming off the back of a big win, but in hindsight it may have been a good time to change things

@PloughLaneByNum @Iain_6 Stevenage game ,hippo looked knackered as did Jonno. Asiimwe played 90 mins for 2nd time. Last night was bigger game imo,so players needed resting previous game. With respect the game changed after 3 mins of 2nd half , orient 3-2 up after 57 mins. Our subs on to L8 (74 mins)

Can kind of see how 2nd half happened. Sure we wanted to continue to attack them like the 1st but they made changes & shut down our threat. But game so open we had no defensive control ourselves. Prob needed to shore up but were v. quickly 3-2 down & needing to chase the game.

@coyd88 @PloughLaneByNum I think he brought Reeves on for the same reason he did on Saturday - we needed someone to put their foot on the ball and help get us further up the pitch in possession. Worked on Saturday (to a degree), not last night though unfortunately

@PloughLaneByNum Hippo and nkeng gassed. Midfield massively overrun, chasing game and bring reeves on ! JJ has credit in bank but should have rested players for Stevenage match,subs on far to late today. We had Ballard we'd have been 5 up by HT. Omar scores in 1st half ,games prob over

Worth saying that Stevenage have the best home defensive record in L1*. Only conceded 11 goals in 18 games. Pretty much everyone finds it hard to break them down there. Not a great place to go behind early. * 2nd best is actually Wimbledon with only 14 conceded at home.
