Very odd line you’re taking Omid. At all costs? Any number of civilians deaths irrelevant? If most all critical civilian infrastructure is destroyed? If the country is plunged back into the ‘stone age’? Generations of Iranians punished? We all want regime change, how MATTERS.

To be fair, most world leaders would probably just say something like “Happy Easter” 🐣 But the bottom line is, however Trump has behaved, it does not come near the atrocities committed by the Islamic regime. The people of Iran are of one voice: get rid of this regime at all costs. The fact that an American pilot was on Iranian soil for a full 48 hours and the IRGC could not get to him and videos are now circulating that the people of Iran did everything they could to stop him falling into the hands of the IRGC - despite handsome financial rewards - is a clear message the regime have no power left in the country. #IranIsraelUSAWar

How have you managed to conflate this rhetoric on the regime!? We wanted this regime to go. How and why always mattered though. Calling for Iran to be besieged with bombs under some false pretense was ALWAYS going to hurt civilians most. Cannot believe the lack of foresight.

It looks like this war is heading for the worst possible outcome for Iranian people: a government by IRCG for IRCG and of IRCG. Iranians in all Persian Gulf countries from UAE to Oman are gonna be expelled and prosecuted because of the same Iranian state they are opposed to. Our infrastructure is pounded. Our universities are set ablaze and our children die helpless under the rubbles. All this happened as Europe looked on in complete silence and complacency. Isreal and US got to play cowboys and Indians with an entire population, tested their now AI enabled war machine and new drones. And soon the innocent people of iran are left alone to deal with severe consequences of all this pointless, meaningless operation. There are no lessons to learn other than this: the world is fundamentally unjust and corrupt.

Not sure why your particularity on the use of ‘war’ when you were a part of a prolonged period that blatantly was war though not officially designated as such.

Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei was a monster and deserves death. That does not mean I support the US entering a major war and taking out the leader of another nation, yet again, when we were promised the opposite. Why is it so hard for Republicans to understand that each of the above are not mutually exclusive to one another?
