With profound humility, gratitude, and a clear sense of purpose, I accept our party's nomination to serve as its candidate for Governor of Lagos State in 2027. I am deeply grateful for the confidence our great party has placed in me and for our shared belief that Lagos deserves much better—inclusive leadership that works for everyone. The real work begins now. Together, we will build the Lagos that we know is possible. My friends, it’s time - O TI Ya!

🚨 JUST IN: History vindicates the brave. A video from 2020 has resurfaced showing former CBN Deputy Governor Dr. Obadiah Mailafia exposing the roots of Nigeria's insecurity. ⚠️ He boldly warned us six years ago about how bandits transport weapons and alleged that a northern governor was named as a Boko Haram commander. The evidence is staring us in the face. Watch and retweet this to expose the wicked politicians sponsoring this crisis!

I heard the “Money Launderer-In-Chief” at Pandora Papers and packaged fraud has fabricated another story this morning about the reason his elder brothers bounced him during his ill-fated visit to Rome. May Nigeria overcome the Gbajues! #RevolutionNow

It's obvious that the biggest business for blackmailers now is talking about Peter Obi from every negative perspective. Even my solemn spiritual trip to Rome has been twisted into yet another blackmail campaign by merchants paid ostensibly to propagate anything negative against Obi. One such individual, whose entire life revolves around blackmail, falsely claimed that I went to Rome to have a private meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regarding a purported ₦225 billion debt crisis involving Fidelity Bank. These claims are not only baseless, malicious, but entirely false. Let me categorically state that I have never sought an audience with, nor met, President Tinubu since he assumed office, except about 1 minute meeting at the arena of Saint Peter’s Basilica Rome during the inauguration Mass of Pope Leo XIV, where I was seated behind, and had to respectfully greet him, and other dignitaries present. I was previously in Rome on the 9th of May for the lying in state of Pope Francis. Immediately after the mass and exchanging pleasantries, I went straight from Vatican City to London, and then back to Nigeria. The self-proclaimed "blackmailer-in-chief" and others who thrive on spreading pain and falsehoods have also claimed that I own Fidelity Bank. For the record, I do not. Throughout my career, I have served as Chairman/Director of 3 banks/Financial institutions, of which Fidelity is one of them. Fidelity has over 500,000 shareholders, none of whom hold a majority stake. What this blackmailer seeks is to harm these hard-working Nigerians and cause them needless distress. To those peddling these falsehoods, and engaging in blackmail, I offer a simple prayer: May God grant you the virtues of gratitude and understanding to know that we came here with nothing and will go with nothing, that they cannot profit from their evil ways. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Last week saw a rush of news stories about conveniently-timed "terror attacks in Burkina Faso." Western media has been furiously quoting a "Sahel expert" from Kenya whose credentials boil down to having hosted a poetry podcast. Lock in.

One of the saddest things I have witnessed in a very long time is people having the audacity to come online and justify the killing of Aminu Sahabi Salisu, the EFCC agent who was fatally shot while serving Nigeria on active duty by a suspected internet fraudster named Joshua Chukwubueze Ikechukwu in Awka, the Anambra State capital. Also, why has Peter Obi not condemned this evil act? It happened in his state. Is he in support of it? Just three days ago he condemned a terrorist attack in Borno the same day it happened. A week ago, he spread fake news about the National Grid collapse. Yet, days after this act of wickedness Mr. Peter Obi has said nothing. Is Peter Obi in solidarity with Joshua Chukwubueze Ikechukwu? We need to understand as a country that people like Salisu are what stand between us and anarchy. Before his death, Salisu was planning his wedding Fatiha. He was dedicated to Nigeria. And was an upstanding member of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission community. Now, all of that has been brought to a tragic end by an alleged criminal. May God grant this martyr of law and order al-Jannah Firdaus. May the Almighty comfort his parents and surviving members. And may all those involved in the crime of his death get their justice here on Earth and in the hereafter. I call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to memorialise Salisu by naming a deserving structure after him.

Omojuwa please be quiet, please do, I am not an Obidient and never will be one, I am not an Atikuist though I have been one on two occasions. My problem isn't with Tinubu actually but you all his hypocritical supporters who masked themselves as neutralists. When GEJ failed, he wasn't given the benefit of the doubt, he was criticized and everyone tagged Nigerian's woes around his neck when in reality he was not the cause, when PMB was failing some of us called for his head but you supposed neutralists kept quiet so you won't be seen as anti-PMB when in reality you knew he has failed. Irrespective of the Periof Tinubu has spent, we will keep calling for his head like we did to other occupiers of the seat. Nigerians will never be good if intellectuals like you keep taking sides based on religious or tribal colouration. How are you different from the people you are tongue-lashing? The Igbos and Christians though not all were emotional on making Obi win same way the Yoruba Muslims though not all were emotional about making Tinubu win. You can't stop people from rejoicing the misfortune caused by the incompetence of an administration sane way you can predict what anyone can do until they become the President, at least we've seen what Tinubu can offer but we don't know what Obi will do yet be it good or bad. So rest...
