Website hacked through the hosting account, not the CMS I got a call on a Tuesday afternoon. "Our website has been defaced. There's offensive content on the homepage." Wordfence showed no malware. All WordPress plugins were up to date. The WordPress admin password was strong, and 2FA was enabled. So how did they get in? 🧵

An audit of Anthropic customers’ bills uncovered invoicing errors, finding about $1.7 million in mistaken overcharges.
