Another day to remind you that Barcelona is an average club. Them getting eliminated by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League quarter finals makes it going to the 12th year without winning the most prestigious club trophy in football but somehow, they always want to convince you that they're a top team. What makes you a top club if you haven't won the most prestigious club football competition in the world in the past decade? What they're good at is winning local trophies because that's what mid team do. At least, unlike Real Madrid who's going trophyless this season, they're walking away with the League title. Barcelona is a good team filled with alot of potentials for the future no doubt but I need Barcelona fans to be humble. They make too much noise for a team that hasn't won an international trophy for more than a decade. For a team who always look like the favorite to scale through the next stage but always bottle it at the end of the day tells you they don't have the depth to be at the very top. They're not there yet but have the ability to be in few years from now, so stop bragging unnecessary. Regardless, congratulations on winning the league.

Then there was the constant back-and-forth with Florentino Pérez, which made things even more frustrating. It felt like he was playing with the club for years using their interest as leverage while never making a clear decision. The repeated transfer saga didn’t help either. Every summer it was the same story, and by 2023, with the contract clause drama at PSG, many fans were already tired of it. On top of that, the reports about his influence at PSG and the massive contract he signed made some Madrid fans feel like he prioritized money and control over legacy something that doesn’t align with the club’s values. It wasn’t just Madrid fans either. A lot of Messi and Neymar Jr. fans grew frustrated with his authoritative attitude at PSG. The constant tension, selfishness, ego and lack of chemistry between them created division within the fanbase, with many feeling he was trying to position himself above player like MESSI and Ney. Even during the 2022 Champions League run, when Vinícius Júnior scored that iconic goal against Manchester City, commentators were already saying: “Who needs Mbappé? They’ve got Vinicius Jr.” So no, he was massively hated before he joined us.

Vini is a better team player than Mbappe, you can really on Vini than on Mbappe. In club football you are better off with Vini on your team than with Mbappe. Madrid were the best team in the world and they lost that status to PSG and the common denominator is that Mbappe left PSG for Madrid.

This team can’t mark properly, can’t track runners, and defends like players who don’t even understand each other. The midfield is all over the place, and the attack has no real plan, everyone just doing their own thing.
