FROM THE DEATH OF BRS…!!!
When Telangana Congress came to power, CM Revanth Reddy bragged about how opposition BRS will be decimated soon & the party will cease to exist.
One of the reasons for bringing a task force like Hydra was to threaten the opposition leaders and supporters. సామ, దాన, బేధ, దండోపాయలు!
And then Revanth Reddy successfully got 10 BRS MLAs to join Congress. You should have seen the song and dance by the pro-government media when BRS MLAs were joining the Congress.
They were eager to write the death sentence for BRS. They went to the extent of publishing eulogies of BRS. And when the “instigated” disturbances in KCR’s family came to the fore, Revanth looked like a fortune-teller with magical powers..!!
BUT then, BRS started fighting back! They first cut the bleeding from the party, knocked on the court doors armed with Anti-defection law ironically introduced by Rahul Gandhi’s father Rajiv Gandhi in 1985.
The court proceedings didn’t technically do anything for BRS, but it showed how far the top brass of BRS is willing to go and fight. At the same time, the cader stayed commited to KCR, his ideology and the party.
Today, a 6 time MLA, former minister, former MLC, a true-dedicated hardcore Congress man Jeevan Reddy who was once seen as a potential CM candidate, is joining BRS.
Generally, politicians join parties which are in power. But in this rarest of rare political move, a 40 YEAR CONGRESSI Jeevan Reddy decided to join the opposition party.
Reason: He is not okay with the anti-democratic and anti-Congress activities of Telangana Congress. He wants all the defected MLAs to resign from BRS and contest in the elections again as per rule. He wants the bulldozers policies should end, corruption to stop.
Jeevan Reddy is fighting for Democracy and the constitutional values. Unfortunately for Rahul Gandhi who swears his life on the same, he is losing the moral battle in Telangana despite being in power.
Irrespective, BRS is here to stay, alive, kicking and bloody well fighting! Jeevan Reddy joining BRS is probably just the beginning of their long political crusade.
