How can Kwankwaso defeat someone who is massively loved by his people?

I think Kaduna State is the only northern state without a credible opposition. At this rate, INEC might as well declare Uba Sani the winner of the 2027 Kaduna gubernatorial elections.

From Bills to Clinics: Bello El-Rufai and Real Healthcare Support When people talk about leadership, they often focus on big speeches and politics. But for many families, what truly matters is simple. Can you get treatment when you are sick? Is there a clinic nearby that actually works? Can your parents afford care when they need it most? This is where Hon. @B_ELRUFAI has built a strong and practical record. Long before he became a member of the House of Representatives, he was already known for helping people settle medical bills. For many, this support came at critical moments, when families had run out of options. It was not about publicity. It was about stepping in when it mattered most. Since assuming office, his approach has become more structured and far reaching. One major area of focus has been Primary Health Care Centres. Across communities, many PHCs had fallen into disrepair, with broken facilities and limited equipment. Through renovation efforts supported by Bello El-Rufai, several of these centres have been brought back to life. A working clinic close to home means people no longer have to travel long distances for basic care. He has also supported the supply of essential drugs. This may sound basic, but it is one of the biggest gaps in public healthcare. A clinic without medicine cannot serve its purpose. By ensuring that drugs are available, he helps turn these centres into places where people can actually receive treatment. It is important to note that many of these efforts go beyond the formal duties of a legislator. The primary role of a lawmaker like Bello El-Rufai is to make laws, provide oversight, and represent constituents, not to directly renovate health centres, supply drugs, repair boreholes, or cover medical bills. Yet, out of genuine concern and a sense of responsibility to his people, he has taken on these interventions. This makes his actions not just commendable, but deeply personal, showing a willingness to step outside the limits of office to make a real difference in people’s health and wellbeing. Water is another silent but critical part of healthcare. Clean water is necessary for both patients and medical staff. Through borehole repairs, he has helped restore access to water in health facilities and communities. This improves hygiene, safety, and overall service delivery. Perhaps one of the most impactful efforts is the enrolment of over 1000 vulnerable elderly people into KACHMA, the Kaduna State Health Contributory Management Authority. Many older people struggle to afford healthcare, especially those without steady income. By supporting their enrolment, Hon. Bello El-Rufai has helped ensure that they can access medical care with dignity, without constantly worrying about cost. What stands out in all of this is consistency. From paying hospital bills quietly in the past to supporting health systems today, his focus has remained the same. Make healthcare accessible. Reduce the burden on ordinary people. Step in where it counts. At the end of the day, healthcare is not theory. It is personal. It is about mothers, fathers, and children getting the care they need when they need it. For voters, the question is simple. Do you choose promises, or do you choose a track record? Hon. Bello El-Rufai has shown, through action, that he understands the needs of the people and is willing to meet them. — Najeeb Wali
