I’d like to thank my friend @Rendon63rd for choosing me to serve as Majority Leader. Not many Speakers would have picked a 30yr old millennial to serve in that position at that time. It took courage. Thank you for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to prove myself.

Today is my last day as a member of the legislature. Representing the 57th district and serving as Majority Leader over the last 8yrs has been an honor of a lifetime. Thank you to my district for the opportunity and to my colleagues for the camaraderie. It’s been real. #AD57

The City of South El Monte wishes our community a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving Day. City Hall and City Departments will be closed on Thursday, November 26th, in observance of Thanksgiving.

Join us for our Virtual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec 5 at 6 pm! Norwalk City Council will light the tree with the help of a special holiday guest. Residents can watch the event on the Norwalk cable channel or the City’s social media pages.

Support local businesses this #Thanksgiving. In-person dining is closed but restaurants, breweries, wineries and bars remain open for take-out and delivery.
