@DustinDemmer I agree but seed for it needs to get substantially cheaper for it to be adopted into lawns. Plugs into lawns, for species I know can be established there by seed, haven't had great success even when babied.

Wonderful to hear presentations on #LCCMR proposals today, including an interesting one from @IanLane3 from the @UMNBeeLab_Squad about rare pollen bees to help inform conservation strategies.🐝

@BeeBabette @pintofscienceAU I think about this with coffee and palm oil too, since they are land hogs in biodiversity hotspots.

@zachportman Spite is my #1 reason for doing science. I actually hate bees, and science was the only legitimate route that allowed me to kill thousands of them.
English

@ShifaMalick @fuzzybumblebee I had to google the species, and I love it!

This article may help us contexualize Wilson's legacy and lasting influence on scientific racism. @stacyfarina spent months scrutinizing the Library of Congress archive that contains Wilson's correspondences with white supremacists. @mclemoremr @sciam

@SaveWildBees @QueerEye I love queer eye! I do think it was a missed opportunity to focus on native plants though, especially given she was having challenges watering her garden.
English

Currently watching a new @QueerEye episode & they are talking about using flowering plants to attract #pollinators to help pollinate fruit & veg gardens! This whole season is the escape I need right now.
English

I have been seen a lot of tree planting initiatives lately, so timing on this article is perfect

@_OmQu @KayleenABailey @evolscientist this was my immediate reaction too. I might take it as, "oh crap I didn't study something I was supposed to!"
