RFK Jr.'s attacks on access to life-saving vaccines are a disaster for our nation's health. Our focus should be on preventing disease, reducing chronic illness, and helping our children become the healthiest generation yet. Under RFK Jr., the Trump Administration has focused on blocking access to life-saving treatments and care -- and dragging us back to the horrific days of losing children to preventable diseases. This ruling is a good step in the right direction. We must continue working to ensure that recommendations are coming from qualified experts and that patients continue to have the freedom to access the care they need.

When Melissa and Mark Hortman were killed in an act of political violence, the gunman also took the life of their beloved dog Gilbert. Their son Colin shared with me that after an earlier threat was made on his mother’s life she decided to get a dog. Gilbert was a golden retriever who Melissa planned to keep until he finished his service dog training. It turned out that Gilbert was too friendly to be a traditional service dog, but would go on to be of great service to the Hortman family. Melissa and Mark loved Gilbert and Gilbert loved them back. And we miss them all every day.

Planned Parenthood has always shown up for us. Now it’s our turn to show up for them. Women’s health is under attack, but that’s never stopped me and it’s never stopped Planned Parenthood. Proud to be in this fight with Planned Parenthood and all of you. 💗
