@BreadLarf@Kurrco 3 tweets, roughly 20 mins apart on each without a single reply on my side. I don’t think I’m the one dragging this. I was ready to stop until you started up with the gifs and snide remarks.
@BreadLarf@Kurrco Relevancy? Currently we are examining your ‘wit,’ or lack thereof, so your reliance on boasting about your physical capabilities only further proves your ineptitude regarding humor and intelligence.
@IanMuller2005@Kurrco gotta say you held your own pretty well during this confrontation, but still no match. Maybe if you spent a fraction of the time you spend training your keyboard warrior skills at the gym you could catch up to me physically cause lord knows you wont on the internet.
@BreadLarf@Kurrco Moreover, twitter has since removed the feature that allowed a paid user to make the check invisible so that no longer applies and I never paid anyways.
@BreadLarf@Kurrco Wtf. No way ur this hung up on one debate. Btw it’s a shitty joke anyway if you meant to call it an alliteration on purpose since you look like a dumbass and you never insinuated that it was my purported connection to drake that would make ME think it was an alliteration.
@BreadLarf@Kurrco ok, let’s wrap this up. That’s not what an alliteration is, but I wouldn’t expect you to know cus you are illiterate. That said I didn’t know you were blind and unable to pick up on the very obvious fact I don’t have a blue check. Unprecedented levels of moronic behavior
@IanMuller2005@Kurrco nice alliteration there, sounding like a real drake fan. I think I met my quota for x posts today but you can keep yapping since u prob have the paid version rich ass white bitch.
@IanMuller2005@Kurrco damm, if you hate bad jokes why dont u just end it bro being white trash on twitter hating all day makes you the worst joke of all time
@Gallo9119@TessaMMuller@Prawnter_ I was using chance synonymous with opportunity and called it “last ditch” because the atonement is after death and when most people would realize and atone for their sins.
@TessaMMuller@Gallo9119@Prawnter_ Purgatory is kind of a last ditch chance to atone for one’s sins, which presumably includes non-belief. I meant a zone specifically for nonbelievers who are otherwise adhering to the Christian view on morality.
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ It boils down to a God punishing his subjects for not being grateful enough, which implies that his feelings were hurt and seems contrary to this image of an all-powerful and loving god.
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ The difference is we didn’t consciously enter into this agreement. We didn’t choose to be alive, or live in this particular world, so even if it is a gift, it would be unreasonable to expect humans to worship him back, especially considering many don’t believe someone gave it.
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ That's an interesting perspective. I always thought of expecting praise as harmful because it indicates entitlement, when we choose to do good of our own volition and shouldn't care about the reward.
@IanMuller2005@Prawnter_ I would argue that expecting unwarranted praise is the bad kind of vanity you are talking about. And expecting praise in general is only wrong because it takes away from whatever reward we could get from God.
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ It would be like giving a gift and then punishing someone for not being grateful. Its understandable that you would be upset, but that doesn't justify you blaming the person, since they don't owe you anything
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ To me, it seems strange for a God to give life to a being, place them in sometimes hostile circumstance, never absolutely confirm your existence, and then expect them to revere you. They have no reason to assume that God's actions were altruistic, or his very existence.
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ I would imagine that a loving and forgiving God would recognize that such praise, although nice, should not be a necessity to reach salvation. This is especially true considering how people might have different faiths or views on reality that compel them to not recognize him.
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ I'm not sure. Don't get me wrong, its important to appreciate veterans and those who sacrifice for humanity, but I would argue expecting praise is a sign of vanity. Moreover, life can be seriously difficult and painful for some people, are they obligated to be thankful?
@norton_ric38987@Prawnter_ So, do you think it's impossible to worship something else thats not evil, like the conception of love or beauty. People worship nature all the time without putting a specific name to it.
