They were given those DLs so that they could legally operate a vehicle. Your logic would allow 16 year olds to vote. Many of them have DLs, too.

Republicans are voting for the same policies, except one, as they were in the 80s. The exception is Reagan granted amnesty because he knew immigrants are an asset to the country.

Letting other countries dump on our markets and extract wealth out of the US is unacceptable. They have high tariffs on our goods and we should match them when they ship stuff here. It will bring manufacturing and jobs back to the US and reduce trade deficits. It will be painful but it must be done. The pain should be blamed on those that let this happen in the first place.

@klin2true I don't think they have any real numbers. Between "aunts" helping and the "girls homes. No way they would have any idea. That would be 16 years before abortion became legal. I lived thru it, I know it.

He’s not going to make life better for the bulk of the people who voted for him. Groceries are going to get more expensive, healthcare coverage will be harder to get, their jobs will be less equitable and lower paying, their medications will be impossible to afford, the air they breathe, water they drink and food they eat will be less safe, and their kids will have less access to public education, if they can access it at all. The women who voted for him will face losing even more rights, the Latinos who voted for him will face deportation, and the blue collar workers who voted for him will face lower wages and more hours for less pay, in unsafe conditions, without overtime. But so long as they get to hate who they hate, or pull the ladder up behind them, or blame some innocent immigrant for all that ails them… they don’t care. Even if they can’t afford eggs under him either, which by the way, they won’t… They still won’t care.
