I am extremely proud of our players and staff! We have battled so much adversity this season, and to play for a national championship is a reflection of their character, heart, and toughness. I have been blessed to coach several great teams throughout my career, but this team has captured my heart in the last two weeks. Nobody expected us to make the run that we did! I have said this to many people… they love each other, they have great hearts, they are unselfish, and they are resilient as hell. I’m thankful to have coached every one of these guys!! This loss hurts but God blessed us tremendously. L’s up!

Thank you all for your prayers, please keep them coming. Reece definitely needs them! He has been awesome so far throughout our stay at the hospital but is now in a lot of pain. We were told a few days that this was impetigo but it has not responded to any antibiotics and continues to grow and spread rapidly on his foot. Everyone here at the children’s hospital is very concerned as we don’t know have a clear answer to what this is now or how to treat it. Reece goes in for a procedure tomorrow as they will do a biopsy and attempt to clean out the dead tissue to promote healing. As a parent this is a helpless feeling, but we believe and have faith that God will heal him!!

White had a phenomenal season for Missouri State, averaging: • 14.1 PPG • 2.9 RPG • 2.6 APG • 38.1% 3PT (7.0 3PA/G) *vs. D1 competition White is flat-out an ELITE shooter, with a smooth, quick release and ridiculously deep range both off the catch + off the dribble. He had some big games this season, including 30 PTS, 4 REB, & 5 AST vs. Indiana State, 25 PTS & 3 REB vs. Boston College, and 21 PTS, 4 REB, & 5 AST vs. Butler.
