I love when people lie and act like they were long time fans of mine. What’s the grift? They never know the answer. They just saw someone who used to be conflict avoidant now voice their opinions (political & more) and they can’t comprehend it.

Because it's more like: "get me flour, water, egg, tomato, cheese, peperoni, combine the flower water egg, spread it out crush the tomato, put it on top, cover that with cheese, then put peperoni on top, then put it in the oven" And the first 10x you get a jumbled mess because you forgot to list yeast, but you dont realize cuz it's also burnt, and then you get something that's weirdly all piled in the middle of a blob and you have to figure out what you missed exactly in the instructions.

That's an interesting situation. What kind of logging do you have in place (is it just token cost, what about responses, sent vs recieved responses)? How long has this been happening? What kind of topics are causing it to get stuck vs that it's completing? Are the topics for all calls the same? Have you tried the same request on your other agents? Does it get stuck on one and not the other? There's a lot of approaches we can take depending on the answers, including but not limited to: problemspace segmentation, auto-log review, augmenting more details to logging, reflection steps, more explicit/restrictive system instructions, pre-transforming context/request.

Had to reject a candidate coz they couldn't answer this: I asked: our research agent completes some requests in 30s while some take 8-10min. Looking at the logs, it's stuck in a loop wasting 1000s of tokens. How'd u fix this? explain ur process. They replied: I'd add MAX_ITERATIONS & TIMEOUTS. I countered: That prevents an infinite loop but the agent still wastes 100s of tool calls before hitting the limit. How'd u eval that the agent isn't making any progress much before timeouts? What'll you answer in their place to not get rejected?

@flyanew What is the problem? What needs explaining? It's pretty easy. You no have money use AI. You have big money go to good artists. Kinda the whole point you seem to have missed for a whole long time. Also avoids the piles and piles of artists with bad service and shitty quality.
