I’ll give a few Unpopular Opinions I have about Perks in Zombies…
• Perk Upgrades should be in-game (not like Vanguard though), it should be through completing challenges with the Perk equipped in-game to unlock new upgrades for it.
• Augments are cool, but should NOT become a staple to every Zombies game. Wouldn’t mind seeing a new version of Augments that requires you to unlock them in-game every match (like what I mentioned above)
• Majority of people would NOT have a problem with a Perk Limit returning, as long as EVERY map had multiple ways of obtaining extra perk slots and/or free perks (enough to get all perks)
• Not every Perk should be on every map. We haven’t had that since like IW, but it’s something I miss. I can at least appreciate how BO6 handles it with the Wunderfizz not unlocking until Round 25, so you are limited to the physical Perk Machines, but BO7 ruined that.
• Wunderfizz should go back to giving out Perks randomly.
• We don’t really need THAT many new perks. We have SOO many in BO7 already, Treyarch should put most of their focus into map-unique content instead.
• The ability to remove a perk, directly from the machine, only being in Infinite Warfare is blasphemous.
• Black Ops Cold War had a TERRIBLE Perk System. Arguably worse than Black Ops 4.
• Black Ops 4’s Perk System could’ve been fixed with just a few simple changes.
• Juggernog, Double Tap, and Speed Cola not being in Black Ops 4 was NOT the problem with that Perk System.
• We should consistently get different themes for Perks in different Zombies games (God Statues, Perk Candies, Demonic Fountains)
