@IceholeTour Highly recommend revisiting! My only time on Garfield before today was also inside a cloud, didn't know what I was missing.

Garfield has probably one of the most underrated views in all of the Whites. You can see 12 other 4,000ers in just these four photos, with four more just out of frame!

So I was doing some buttslidin on East Osceola when I ran into John's Birthday buddy. 85th Birthday and a 75+ Gridiot!! He helped me wish John a Happy 18th Birthday....Happy Happy Gents!

@jcenerizio Oh wow. What a hero!! I was talking to my Mom last night about comfort of having a personal sos GPS. But stated very clearly that self rescue is the only option!

@IceholeTour I was just telling my dad about your hike and your gray jay…cause my dad loves doing the same thing. He told me that loop was the hike he was doing when he broke his ankle and had to drag himself 2.5 miles out..only bone he has ever broken.

Bagged 3 more Fall 4Ks, basically winter hiking practice! Hit Tom, Field and Willey for final Fall 25 summits. 15 to go for my Fall 48!
