Bottom line: This absolutely could be a case of the Ravens being scared away by the state of Crosby's knee. It could also be buyer's remorse... with the failed physical as an excuse. And other teams might view those same results differently, and decide to take the risk...

This puts the Raiders in an incredibly difficult situation. They lose the picks, they have a bunch of deals to be finalized tomorrow done under the assumption Maxx Crosby was gone, and now they may have to turn around and trade him again with the medical question hovering.

ESPN sources: the Chiefs and Rams are working on a blockbuster trade that would send All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie to Los Angeles for a package that would include the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft. McDuffie would be expected to sign a long-term deal with the Rams.

Trent McDuffie played for Rams defensive coach Jimmy Lake at Washington, fits the team's biggest defensive need, and is from Los Angeles. LA still holds on to the 13 pick, without being forced to draft a corner. From LA side, a whole lot to like about this deal. @ESPNNFL

The worst part about this is I have to hear people say dumb shit about Drake Maye for the next few months. He wasn’t good tonight but the guy was just robbed of league MVP the other night in his first full season as a starter. Dude is 23 years old. He’s got no help either. Relax.

One more time... the votes are due the day after the regular season. Nobody saw the playoffs. The playoffs have nothing to do with the MVP award.

So when the MVP arguments are had. This tape should end that discussion. Stafford out on a master class against this same defense that Maye has 18 yards against currently with 7:34 left in the 3rd Q. He has had a great season and will have an MVP in his future but it was Stafford year.

Drake Maye finished 2nd in MVP voting by one singular vote (24 to 23 first place votes) at just 23 years old.
Lost because Matthew Stafford’s friends and former teammates are allowed to vote on the award.
Anyway, he’ll be playing for the Super Bowl on Sunday.
