@Old_But_Gold50s Not at all “infamous”, but an elegant gesture of #CulturalDiplomacy — also needed today. Arthur Rubinstein’s all-#Chopin recital in Moscow in 1964 coincided with the 200th anniversary of Stanisław II August being elected King of Poland with the aid of Catherine II of Russia.
