Friends, today I turn 40, and my heart is filled with gratitude. Please join me in thanking God for the gift of life, grace, mercy, and every blessing along the journey. Truly, it has all been by the grace of God. I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, and everyone who has walked with me, prayed for me, supported me, and shared in this journey to this moment. At 40, I pray for even more strength and grace to do more, love more, serve more, and become more of what God has called me to be. Thank you for being part of my story. May God bless you all abundantly. 🤩🙏🏽

I just watched this disturbing video of nursery school pupils of Community Primary School, Umuora Obulechi, Oriuzor, in Ezza North LGA of Ebonyi State, receiving lessons in their terrible classroom. The government just suspended the teacher and principal for letting someone show the rot in this school. This same state spent billions sending a handful of persons to the UK for education while ignoring the poor children and poor families. Let’s find the suspended teachers and support them. We can pay them a year salary each and find other ways to support them. For the government that suspended them, shame on you. Fix this school for Christ sake and don’t be wicked to these children.

Today, we visited these schools in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State to spread the good news of Mathematics. Mathematics is too critical for the development of South East and we are radicalizing it. In 10 years we will be the greatest workforce in Africa.

@winexviv Suspended? He should be fired and in jail. But then this means the universities might end up with no lecturers at all because there's just way too many of them just like this disgraceful man, it has become a norm. Thank you for all that you're doing 🙏.

@winexviv Every well meaning Igbo elite should rise and join this. Good people have stayed too quiet for too long, it has allowed charlatans and riffraffs to overrun the South East. God bless your efforts sir 🙏

We have bailed Joy Ezeugwu. She was arrested 7:35am this morning and got to the station at 8:20am. We got to the Force Headquarters Annex at 9am. We didn’t leave until now that we completed the bail process. AfiaTv team, Uche, Barrister Kene Nnadi and two other lawyers were there to ensure she was out. Joy can never walk alone. We will take up Ifeyinwa Peace Okwudo up immediately. We will deploy every legal means. We will offer Joy Ezeugwu all the support and will always be by her side. Any student who is bold enough speak up against evil in their schools will always have our support. We will build an army of lawyers that will be ever ready to fight for justice. We will dismantle injustice and impunities in our institutions.

@OgbuAdaeze @winexviv Where is the Enugu state government in all of this? The South East has gone downhill so badly with these recent leaders. We used to prioritize public education and healthcare, now it's for the highest bidder. South East leaders are failing horribly in the education sector 💔

May I also use the medium to draw your attention to the current state of Government Technical College Nsukka. The school has dilapidated so much that you will question whether teaching and learning is still happening there. Yet. It is. With a population that is growing rapidly. This used to be one of the solid public schools in Nsukka. It has produced a good number of skilled men and women in the past. Now, that everyone is screaming skill acquisition and self reliance, our dear GTC is dying away. Sir, please, intervene and help bring the attention of the concerned authorities to this situation. Thank you.

How can students learn under this condition in UNN? We asked them to fix the hostels but Dr. Agbo Aaron Adibe chose to be arresting people. Our students can’t continue to live worse than prisoners.

@winexviv You're doing the Lord's work. The South East cannot complain of government negligence and in the same breathe, embezzle funds ment to maintain public structures. The University management should account for every single penny. Enough of shielding thieves.

We are doing this for our children and future generations to come. UNN students are living in conditions no one should accept. Meanwhile, funds have been released for hostel maintenance. So we asked for the records. All of it. They have 7 days to respond. If they don’t, we go to court.

Last week, when i stepped down from the car at Ojukwu girls’ hostels in University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, something terrible hit me before i even saw anything else. The smell. Not the kind you can ignore. The kind that stays with you. The kind that makes you wonder how anyone is expected to live like this not to talk of study, dream, or become anything. Bathrooms you can’t step into without holding your breath. Water that doesn’t run. Windows open for "Window Men" to steal at night. Doors that don’t lock. Rooms packed beyond capacity. No privacy. No dignity. Just young girls trying to survive each day in a place that quietly strips them of self-worth. And that’s where the conversation everyone avoids begins. Because what happens next is not random. When a teenage girl cannot bathe safely… When she cannot sleep in peace… When her own hostel feels like a punishment… She starts looking for an escape. Not because she’s wayward. Not because she lacks home training. But because she’s tired. Tired of managing filth. Tired of feeling less than human. So a man offers a better space, a cleaner room, water, light, comfort. And slowly, survival turns into compromise. It doesn’t start with “promiscuity.” It starts with relief. Then comes dependency. Then comes pressure. Then comes mistakes that carry lifelong consequences. And one day, she’s pregnant. And society, in its usual cruelty, asks: “Where are her parents?” “Why are girls like this?” But nobody asks the harder question: What kind of environment did we abandon her to? We keep pretending morality exists in isolation. It doesn’t. Environment shapes choices. And when you place teenagers in conditions that constantly strip them of dignity, you shouldn’t be shocked when they begin to make desperate decisions just to feel human again. This is not just about dirty hostels. This is about how a system quietly pushes young girls into situations they never planned for and then turns around to blame them for surviving it. If we’re serious about reducing teenage pregnancy… If we truly care about protecting the future of these girls… Then we need to stop looking away. Because sometimes, the difference between discipline and desperation is just the condition of where a girl lays her head at night.

It is a sad day for the Catholic Church in Nigeria. We mourn the passing of Bishop Peter Chukwu, the Catholic Bishop of Abakiliki Diocese. Born in 1965, ordained a priest in 1993, appointed and ordained a Bishop in 2021, and died in 2026. May the Lord grant him eternal rest 🙏🏿

Chileeee at some point, I was thinking I wanted 3. Economic reasons made me adjust that number to 2. While on hospital admission, a woman giving birth in the ward closeby screamed and laboured nearly all day. I changed the number again to one child. Here I come on Twitter one day
Alayo💖 ✨@Aunty_Akanke

I am beginning to think women of older generation didn’t use 9 months to carry pregnancy cos tell me why some of gave birth to 10 children and above 😭 How did Dey do it and what has changed with this generation 😩😂🤣

DETAIL ACCOUNT ON THE ALLEGED RAPE CASE YESTERDAY AT EKEOWE COMMUNITY, SOUTHERN IJAW LGA Bayelsa Man Dies After Receiving 40 Strokes Of Cane For Allegedly Raping 10-Year Old Girl By John Ovie A 47-year old man identified as Mr. Emi Sigah, has died at Ekeowe community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Wednesday , March 25, 2026 after recieving 40 strokes of cane for allegedly raping a 10-year old girl. Our correspondent learnt that it had been an age long tradition in Ekeowe for a culprit of rape to receive 10 strokes of the cane from each of the 12 families that made up the community amounting to an aggregate of 120 strokes as a measure for curbing the sacrilegious act. It was gathered that the rape victim (name withheld) had accompanied her aunt to a nearby farm to pluck ocra when she was allegedly ambushed by the culprit while her unsuspecting aunt was in front of their way from the farm. The suspect, we learnt, was caught allegedly fingering and sexually molesting the toddler in a nearby bush. We gathered that an individual in the community offered N50,000 Naira while another offered N15,000 as alternative for the flogging but community folks insisted that the tradition must be followed to serve as deterrent to others. In fulfilment of the old culture, TNN learnt that the rape suspect was subjected to a 120 marathon flogging exercise but fainted after enduring 40 strokes and was later confirmed dead. According to Mr. Ayebaitari Easterday, Chief Press Secretary to the chairman of southern Ijaw council Area, Mr. Target Segibo, normalcy has returned to the community with the timely intervention of the chairman in collaboration with security operatives. He hinted that the youth president of the community and three others have been arrested in connection with the death of the rape suspect and taken to the Criminal Investigative Department (CID) of the Bayelsa State Police Command in Yenagoa. Mr.Easterday added that the police in Oporoma town, headquarters of Southern Ijaw LGA in company of council officials have evacuated the body of the suspect and deposited it at the Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa, the state capital. He said council condemned the action of the community youths, describing it as alien to morden laid down processes of handling criminal cases, urging the people to report criminal suspects to the appropriate authorities instead of taking laws into their hands. "As much as Council do not align with the repugnant attempted rape of the minor, the action of the youths is alien. " It would have only been commendable if they had reported the matter to security agencies for the law to take its course. "The Council chairman is presently on a trip outside the state to attend the zonal and national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC),so he was represented by a high power delegation of the Council headed by the Special Adviser on Security Matters. "And of course security agents were very helpful in curbng the would -have been explosive crisis. " We salute the affected family and the Ekowe community for embracing peace and not allowing the matter to escalate ", Easterday said. As at the time of writing this report, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Musa Mohammed told our correspondent that he was yet to get details of the incident, promising to call back later.

They should bury those remains in an unmarked spot in a farm where he will fertilize the plants and trees. His bitch ass was worthless in his lifetime, hopefully in death he can be useful to the environment. W for the community unlike that other nasty one holding rape festivals.
Ugbede@ugbede_ugbede

Actually they did not plan to flog him to death. They allegedly have a rule to flog any rapist 120 strokes of cane before handing them over to the authorities. This man died after 40 strokes because not only is he a pedo and rapist, he’s also a weak disgusting scum who can’t handle more than 40 strokes of cane. He is capable of raping a child, subjecting her to pain and torture but cannot handle more than 40 strokes of cane. 🤮
