@inkfycreates @AntifaCostanza I'm not sure that's entirely the case in Persona. I played 3FES like a standard JRPG, doing regular runs of Tartarus, and it was a miserable experience. Did the P4 Golden dungeons each in a day and it played much better.

@AntifaCostanza I think the issue is as I've heard before, "players will optimize the fun out of a game". People, in a desire to rush through a game, will very much attempt to power through intended game mechanics in order to finish things faster.

The games are very intentionally designed for you to be able to one day clear, it actually gives meaning to resource management. The problem isn't that you can do it, it's that it's too easy.

@suchnerve My only critique would be this thing probably costs as much money as it would take to just fill the tank over its lifetime. You can go hundreds of miles on a few dollars in these things. Those solar panels cost hundreds of dollars.

One of the most frustrating things about how social media is cooking people’s brains is seeing someone just completely change as a person in a way that makes zero sense. In the past you had some people who became more conservative as they became more upwardly mobile and found themselves with different priorities. But nowadays you’ll just see someone develop a completely contradictory belief system with no actual cohesive journey to get there. On issues that don’t affect them personally in any way. It’s like they developed such intense brain fog that their education and empathy just got completely memory holed.
