Did CAF actually think for a moment to really deliberate what this decision has done for African football? We have actually lost all credibility as a continent. After such an embarrassing situation like this, nobody will take the AFCON seriously anymore. (Black players are usually skipped in transfer market because of AFCON). This just further cements their thought process and hurts our reputation greatly.. Whatever happens onwards, AFCON has lost at least 80% credibility. Its now a tainted trophy. If the decision should be overturned it should have been done within 24hrs of the final and not 2 months after. Such a callous, reckless and thoughtless decision by a few individuals has ruined African football. Football is won on the pitch and not the courtroom. THIS IS BEYOND A CONTINENTAL DISGRACE.
