@iDentity_US @TheDivisionGame this is definitely something you guys need to look into cause I’m a veteran player and I can tell u the only gear I have lvl 30 are my weapons none of my gear is at 30 so I have to grind my to get my gear to lvl 30 smh 🤦🏾‍♂️

So who is Prototype Gear really for when you step back and look at how it functions right now? New players can’t realistically access it yet, returning players (me) would have to re-enter a loop that asks more from them than it gives back, so the sweats are the only ones who can fully engage with it at scale. With Survivors, Central Park, and Division 3 all being worked on at the same time, I get that this is meant to hold things over, but does it actually invite players in or just cater to the ones already locked in? So what’s the solution? what do you think could be adjusted here to make this system feel more inviting without losing its depth? Because the concept of Prototype Gear is actually pretty cool #thedivision2

@Unknown1Z1 Augments 100% won’t work in PvP. Game director confirmed it. PvP max levels would still be max what they are today. 15 weapon damage, 170k armor and 1 skill tier, etc

I was super excited for Division 2's new prototype gear until I realized this is legit Division's version of Destiny's tiered armor system. Spending 100s of hours to get shiny new gear, while having to spam one single activity to get it, and once you do, there's nowhere in the game that requires this gear because you're already overpowered. Wild to see Division doing this, seeing as everyone just watched it murder Destiny's player count. Division had a chance to swoop up a ton of lost looter shooter mains, instead they're doing the same dangled carrot trick as Destiny did. #TheDivision2

🚨I think a lot of the Division 2 player base has mixed feelings about PROTOTYPE, but it’s important to keep the bigger picture in mind. A healthy community needs content for all types of players, and right now veteran players don’t really have anything meaningful to chase. ⭕️PROTOTYPE ⭕️helps fill that gap by offering both progression goals and the added challenge of escalation tier 6+. If we want Division 2 to succeed overall, the game needs to support everyone, casual PvE players, PvP-focused players, veterans looking for real difficulty, and speedrunners who thrive on raids and incursions. PROTOTYPE should be something RARE and something we chase to slowly add to improve our current builds. #thedivision2

@TheDivisionGame have it where we can optimise the prototype stats if we dont get the max stat after getting to expertise 30 and turning prototype just to be useless if thats the case i rather not make it prototype at this point by the time i get all max stats for one gear piece 💀 division 3

Rankings are official...2nd place. I've been grinding every cup and slowly improving, 22nd, then 18th, and now 2nd. I got my first gold icon, but this one really hurts. At least it really shows how close I am towards my goal and I'll be giving it my all at the WCQ. お疲れ様でした

@jameslumley1997 @TheDivisionGame To both, you should be able to recalibrate the loot that drops if you are 1 talent or attribute off of what you want and also optimise the loot you have upgraded from high end to prototype by using the materials you get from deconstructing non needed or bad rolled drops
