@King0243_PJC H&M are using the Philanthropic model. They earn income, and use part of that income, their time and goodwill to support their philanthropic work. Under the royal model, taxpayers pay them outrageous amounts, and they decide if they work at all or just attend only sports events.

Prince Harry's and Meghan's visit in Australia and getting such a huge warm welcome shows the vast need hundreds of organisations have for patrons, people who will really promote their work and make the world aware. The Royal children's hospital, the Women's shelter the Veterans museum. Getting huge publicity, a huge push, to world awareness. The current Royal family hardly works. William Parker Bowles and Kate do less than the minimum. Hundreds patronises are without a patron, hundreds of charities are left without funding. Harry and Meghan do the work. They bring awareness and huge exposure to these causes. So more and more organisations and charities would want to be associated with them even in short timelines. The Royal family is so irrelevant right now, so out of the loop, so out of touch with how far away and detached they are from this reality that nobody cares about them and their reactions. They made themselves scarce. Harry and Meghan are there showing up doing the work. Everyone wants them.

@ailodieraP @DuchessofGeeks First class toilets are at the front. The Sussexes were not the only ones in first class. Sometimes you get about 2 first class passengers waiting to use them and chatting while they wait. That is not so difficult to understand.

@LadyColinCampb As working royals in 2018 the Sussexes flew commercial in business class on Quantas's flight to Australia. The Sussexes are the humblest members of the RF. The Cambridges in a PR stunt had budget airlines fly only their family. One commercial plane for them. What a Waste!

How is it possible? Meghan and Harry have been reduced to flying commercial, not like William, Catherine and the Wales kids, who happily fly on budget airlines, but like the hoi polloi, like you and me, as they flew from LA into Syndey on a Quantas flight no less. My heart breaks for them. I know Harry doesn't mind, but poor Megsy baby, she minds awfully that her days of turning left are back again, after seven years of cadging flights on other people's private planes. One must wish them luck, and hope the Australian trip is the the start of commercial profitability, otherwise they'll soon be turning right. World Travellers in more than one meaning of the words. His fees have fallen from $1m to $30-50,000. And hers, which used to be $50,000 per episode of Suits, are in the red, which isn't much of a harbinger for ownership or even chartering of private planes. Economy is hopefully a word they'll never need to know the meaning of, though it sure looks as if that's the way they're headed. Unless, of course, Victoria Jackson comes to their aid now that Tyler Perry won't.

@SageKnowsAll Harry and Meghan do more consequential charity work in one month than all the "working royals" do in 10years. Like most adults except William and Kate, they have to work to make a living too. When they do, some jealous and ignorant people call it cashing in.

My neighbor came over around 600pm. She had a problem with her hot water tank. The problem was a leak. The tank is done. She was going to call a plumber but I told her I’ll take care of it. A plumber on a weekend would be crazy expensive. I went to shut the water off to the tank. The water valve wouldn’t turn. It’s also done. I shut the water off at the meter. Lucky I had some valves here at the house. I fixed that. Told her tomorrow we can run out and get a new tank and I’ll put it in. I know she doesn’t have a lot of money. She’s elderly and all alone. So my son and I will take care of it. She offered to pay. I told no, just get us a pizza for lunch.
