After more than 10 years, I’ve set up a new site. It's more a small book that aims to illustrate what I have learned over the years about letter-fitting. I also felt the need to gather some information about the mathematical model behind iKern. ikern.space

Igino’s algorithms are tested in battle, so to speak, so it isn’t surprising that when he sat down to describe the thinking behind them he produced some of the best writing about spacing I have read.

@commercialtype @typographica @processtype I would think that design errors may be spotted 'after' (whatever) kerning. Conceptually.

I'd prefere to have 10 bugs to find instead of having to deal with something that works but I don't understand why. It's the 'hyperbug'.
