The first step is to get rid of the fraud. This will bring accountability into the system. The means transparency in costs. He's already bringing down prescription drug prices by insuring US drug manufacturers give US the lowest prices. The next step is to break up the health care imsurance monopoly. You do know they were the primary authors of the ACA, right? Under ACA the government pays subsidies directly to insurers. Trump wants to force insurance companies to compete by subsidizing the individual, not the company. He is also working to reduce red tape and bureaucratic barriers throughout the entire healthcare system. These are common sense solutions that don't require massive changes in the delivery system; only the payment and oversight system.
