@asemota They will look back and say Wth did we do that. And 5-10 years from now, they will come to apologize. Every country like GH, NG, and more, that has lived this trauma must pass it to its next gen. Unfortunate for those who are not participating but will be impacted.

@ezekelechi_ @Allezamani I told someone recently that all through one's courting journey trying to learn sexual compatibility, one may not encounter an event that will trigger the unknown. That one event may just spring up on the 5th year of marriage and everything will just tank😂.

Sexual compactibility is psychological sha. That person you feel that you are not sexually compatible with can meet someone else and want sex everyday. Sex is the end product of a lot of things in marriage. You can feel you are sexually compatible with sm1 now because you have not seen them in their full weakness but marry fes and let children come.

When it comes to marrying someone, sexual compatibility is as important as genotype compatibility. Make sure you and your partner are sexually compatible, or else that marriage must fail.

As a married man, I once rejected my wife’s food over a quarrel for over a week even though I was still providing the money for it. There was another time, close to three weeks, where I didn’t speak to her and she didn’t speak to me. Today I’ve outgrown all those habits. At some point i said i no do again. But today we are 9 years still learning and enjoying it. A lot of you talk like pros until you get married and your true nature comes out. Marriage is just two imperfect people looking to build something. Blocking and unblocking your husband is just one way people vent anger that doesn’t mean she isn’t interested again one day she’ll outgrow it. On Twitter people behave as if dem no dey sh!t. You don’t know what you can do until you get married. No one gives marital advice more than a man or woman who hasn’t tested marriage. I can’t do this I can’t do that😂 If you have never quarreled with your wife or husband to the point of leaving, the marriage then you haven’t truly started.
Mazi Nathan@rukky_nate

If I am in a marriage with a woman who blocks and unblocks me every time we have issues, I will assume she’s no longer interested. My goal would be to make it easier for her to leave and create room for her replacement. We are adults in marriage, not secondary school lovers.

Success has no formula except for grace. I’ve seen all sorts of people succeed. I have seen hard-working people succeed, and I have seen lazy people succeed. I have seen the truthful win and liars triumph. Seen the poor get rich, and the rich get even richer without explanation.

A friend came to visit me yesterday, and over a bottle of Ciroc, we started talking about corruption. We both acknowledged that there is corruption all over the world, but I told him that Nigeria’s corruption is self-sabotaging. I gave him a series of examples. Somehow, I mentioned the smart school project in Enugu state, which, generally, has been a failure. And then came a question that I still couldn't answer. ‘What is a smart school?’ I poured him another shot, and we celebrated the victory of the Egyptians against New Zealand.

I have some friends yet to congratulate me for Arsenal Victory 7 days after we lifted the EPL trophy and 12 days after we won it, but they couldn't resist the urge to send mocking messages celebrating the UCL loss. It didn't matter to them what winning it meant to me and how losing it at that stage must feel. There is a life lesson here. There are those who will celebrate your inability to attain just because it makes them feel better about themselves or their feeling of superiority based on past glory. Regardless, those messages had the opposite effect. They became fuel and motivation to keep believing and pushing forward. We will win it one day by His Grace. And y'all be living witnesses. 🙏

The difference between DicloNa and DicloK is in the salt form and formulation and how it affects the pharmacokinetics. On the one hand, DicloK is fast; you should feel the effect in minutes (typically 15-30 mins). On the other hand, DicloNa has a slower onset due to slower dissolution in the gastric fluid; you should feel the effect in >1 hour (typically 1-3 hours). This is different from the enteric-coated Diclo (mostly DicloNa) which has a slowest onset time compared to the previous two. Both have a different onset time, the same elimination time, but a little difference in the onset time and the slower dissolution makes exposure a little different. So you will notice a lower Cmax and a slightly longer time for DicloNa. Or in simpler terms, you will notice that DicloNa has a broader and smoother concentration–time profile. Hence, it makes it better for chronic conditions where diclofenac is needed. In short, you can see why and say that DicloNa is good for chronic conditions and DicloK is better for acute conditions. Of course, the real issue is not the difference per se, but the clinical use and the context surrounding such a use. And from here, several questions come up. A common question I get when I recommend a different one or try to optimize a treatment plan in terms of medication management as a rural pharmacist is "Can both be used interchangeably, like can we switch to the other?" Not really a direct Yes/No answer, it depends on the clinical and supply chain context. But in many cases, it is possible, although there might be minor tweaks in the dosage regimen. For example, you can see clinicians switch to another diclofenac salt form but change the dose and/or the number of times they have to use it. Some will even add a different analgesic that is not an NSAID altogether or add another drug if gastric protection is or will become an issue. So it depends on the clinical context and the clinical dexterity of the clinician. Another question is that, "which one is better for people with GI issues, let’s say ulcer?" While not recommended, in cases where both are the ONLY options available, DicloNa is better due to slow dissolution which reduces the peak and of course the side effects that come with a high peak that DicloK is known for. If you can consider the type of formulation itself, enteric-coated DicloNa can be better since it will dissolve in the small intestine. Fun fact, we don’t really have much enteric-coated DicloK because the main aim of DicloK is to work faster. The more important question is the relation to cardiovascular issues, which many people say that DicloK is better than DicloNa, citing the issue of "sodium is in DicloNa and is already in salt." Another fun fact here is that, the total amount of sodium you will take per day in a guideline-adhering dosage regimen containing DicloNa is not significant clinically compared to the daily food's salt intake. That is me intentionally avoiding the other ways you can take in sodium as salt. Same thing as DicloK in hyperkalemia, with some people wrongly thinking that hyperkalemia means too much potassium already, again the amount of potassium in DicloK is not really significant. So generally, we DON'T RECOMMEND Diclofenac (whether K or Na) for patients with cardiovascular conditions or hyperkalemia because it is an NSAID, and NSAIDs have issues with renal function and heart, amidst other things. It is not due to the potassium or sodium content or whatsoever.

PRIESTS ARE NOT SUPERHUMAN Last Saturday, July 5, 2025, Fr. Matteo Balzano, a Catholic priest of the diocese of Novara in Italy was found lifeless in the parish rectory where he was working as an associate priest. He was 35 years old and just 8 years in the priesthood. That morning, his parishioners had come for Mass as usual but when they could not see their priest (which was unusual), they went and found him dead in his room. He had taken his own life. In November 2024, Fr. Dennis Conway, another Catholic priest from a diocese in the United States of America also committed suicide. There are many other such tragic stories but they did not make it to the social media space. These are not isolated events. They are cries from a wounded priesthood that many still fail to see and echoes from the silent struggles of priests which many still fail to hear. The society often views priests as flawless: always strong, always holy, always available. They are expected to counsel others but never break down, preach hope but never feel despair, carry burdens but never collapse. That image is not just wrong – it is deadly. I remember when I lost my immediate elder brother about 2 years ago and someone told me not to cry because I am a priest. I am happy I did not heed to that. I cried and till date, I still cry because I am human. You see, behind every collar is a man - flesh and blood - who gets tired, feels lonely, battles doubts, and sometimes cries in silence. Yes, priests are consecrated, but not immune to depression, burnout, or trauma. They are not angels in cassocks. They are human. The tragedy today is that when priests struggle, many suffer in silence. Why? Because society - even within the Church - often punishes vulnerability. People say: “How can you be tired?” “You are a priest, pray harder.” “You have no family - what stress do you have?” This pressure to be perfect isolates priests. They fear being judged if they admit they are weak. So many wear a smile at the altar and carry hidden wounds in the dark. But remember that even Christ Himself wept. He felt anguish in Gethsemane. He got tired on the way to Calvary. To the faithful, see your priests as human beings first, men called by grace, yes, but still human. See them as servants who need rest, not sacramental machines. See them as shepherds who also need tending. See them as brothers who need solidarity and mutual presence, not distant icons. Pray for them - daily. Ask them sincerely: “How are you doing?” Allow them space to be human - without unrealistic expectations. Encourage professional mental and emotional support when needed. Stop gossiping and start listening. Priestly ministry is beautiful, but it is hard. Really hard. Many priests carry griefs they cannot name, disappointments they cannot share, and expectations they cannot meet. Yet they show up - for us. Let us also show up - for them. To every priest reading this: You are not alone. You are allowed to be human. Your worth is not in your performance. Even Christ fell under the weight of the Cross - and he got help. Do not be afraid to ask for help too. Do not be afraid to speak up. Reach out. Do not carry the burden alone and in silence. You are not a superhuman. May the soul of Fr Matteo find rest in the Lord🙏🏿 Fr. Ugochukwu Ugwoke, ISch
