This lying poster claimed to be in the 1% IQ club. When I requested that he post proof of MENSA membership and score he flipped out because he got caught. Iron_Lord @TheIronLord MENSA is trash, and only targets puzzle solving which doesn't even touch base in most areas of expertise in the measurement process. My lowest score is 130 through their garbage and as high as 142 through WAIS-IV and RIAS. You are talking out of your ass because you feel the need to be a toxic asshole on the Internet. My tests that matter were all provided by clinical professionals in controlled environments not your crappy little online MENSA that grok can solve for you. @Andy34417974 @tuuu28283 This is another item that I should add. When someone naturally speaks correctly around his peers, but speaks more in a rural/lazy way around the locals. Are they really being polite or are they just looking down on you. Average or low IQ usually do not comprehend this.

Bud, I work with PhD chemists and biologists, and I live in a rural farming community. I know some very intelligent farmers with an IQ as high as my PhD buddies, and they use very rural language. You're conflating IQ with education, and you're also assuming that if someone is able to speak a certain way, that they would choose to. Perhaps that's true for you, but there are a lot of people that don't want to sound pretentious. There are lots of different types of intelligence.

@skitdetector @tuuu28283 Yes is the most common. "Yup" is more common and has been around a lot longer than "yep". "Yep" came along later after "yup" had already been around for awhile. "Whatz up!!" is a add on to "yup" that was used decades ago.

@shayrad21 @tuuu28283 Half of my relatives are from Texas. Missouri, Tennessee. I know a thing or two as they say. They always had a way of doing everything in a relaxed/lazy way. They would say "all you city folk run around likz your hair's is on fire". Not speaking correctly is lazy.
