@Lost_standard @mufenhu @2nomwene Why the hell should I go to the wedding with my own food? I will eat my own food at home
English

@mufenhu @2nomwene If yall are broke just say that. I love that wambo traditional weddings are communal ventures. No cash bars, no eating alone. People have parents that sponsor their weddings its not always the couple..hereros are greedy selfish fuckers, this is how they would run the country too
English

This is how a Herero wedding is done. In the bush.
You come with your everything: food, drinks and tents etc...
The couples are not responsible for what people are going to eat but focus on their beautiful union. I really like this wedding tradition
Kalenga@Hamunjela
Honestly, that sounds much more reasonable. At the end of the day, it’s not really about how expensive the wedding is, but about celebrating the moment without putting yourself under unnecessary financial pressure. I also can’t imagine starting life as newlyweds already deep in debt.

@nightofthemo_on @Imms_S_Nashinge Any successful black campanies in Namibia? You are a fool
English

@Imms_S_Nashinge No one talks about how coloureds, basters and whites don’t get hired at government jobs or black private sector companies. We treat the minorities just like the whites treated us
English

The SWAPO some of you voted is investigating tribal hiring in SOEs… while running the country on political cards for 35 years. The audacity! Well you planted this seed… Don’t be surprised by the harvest! Namibia needs merit, transparency and equal opportunity, full stop!!!!#ReapWhatYouSow

Otjikoto Lake known as Ugly Lake is the smaller of only two permanent natural lakes in Namibia. It is a sinkhole lake that was created by a collapsing karst cave. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Tsumeb and only 100 meters from the main road B1. The lake was declared a national monument in 1972

@namibiansun Hey journos, please don’t call such people ‘apostle’ and ‘pastor’. It legitimises them. Scammer is more apt.

JUST IN: A 73-year-old woman at the centre of a viral church incident has taken steps to open a defamation case against Apostle Shaundre Solomon Shoombe after she was publicly accused of witchcraft.
Ohangwena police regional commander, Commissioner Ottilie Kashuupulwa, confirmed to Network Media Hub (NNH) that Tuyenikelao Kamhulu reported the matter at Okongo police. The docket will be transferred to Oshana Region, where the incident occurred, for formal registration.
Kamhulu allegedly travelled nearly 200 kilometres from Okongo to Okaandje village in the Ongwediva constituency, seeking healing for a painful leg.
However, during a church service on 28 March, Shoombe allegedly accused the elderly woman of being a witch in front of congregants, sparking public outrage.
Oshana police regional commander, Commissioner Naftal Lungameni Sakaria, said police have already interviewed the pastor and obtained a statement after the video went viral.
Sakaria stressed the need for stability and responsible leadership across all sectors, including religious institutions. He added that once the docket reaches Oshana, the matter will become a criminal investigation, after which a decision will be taken on whether an arrest will be made.
He urged the public to remain calm and allow law enforcement to handle the matter.
The incident has drawn widespread attention, with Kamhulu’s family previously demanding an apology, describing the accusations as harmful and distressing.
