They overthought a literal national champion with amazing size, quick 1st step, defensive upside, playmaking upside & rim attacking.

San Antonio is the Empire. 5 titles and 20 years of dominance only to luck into the most generational prospect ever and two more consecutive top-4 picks. OKC was built systematically. Much easier to root for.

We can see Castle pushes SGA in the back for a legit foul. Was the push enough to force SGA to fall? Probably not. But it doesn't bother me what a player does or where they end up after a legitimate foul.

And they traded Josh giddy for Caruso who was a #6 pick and is averaging nearly a triple double. Idk if that’s necessarily luck that was a win win for both teams.

Buttt getting the #2 pick last year was ridiculously lucky pretty sure a less than 10% chance. And then being ass the year of the most generational prospect in 20 years was also some good fortune.

Please explain to me the logic calling the spurs “lucky” for getting a castle with the #4 pick But OKC is not “lucky” for getting Chet with the #2 pick? You can easily argue the spurs were smart drafting castle at 4, while Chet was the easy fell into their laps #2 pick I’d love to understand this because there’s no explanation for it

@adolfomor3n0123 Preferential calls is subjective. When analytically and statistically that’s just incorrect. You can look at any statistic and it doesn’t back up the opinion. They have one of the worst ft differentials in the nba. And the 3rd lowest fta per game this playoffs.

@IknowBall206 Oh for sure, OKC got 27 points off of those turnovers, those turnovers don’t exist, they win the game. But the point of my post is, they’re allowed to do it every single game. When 29 other teams see the preferential treatment towards OKC in calls, something is wrong.
