Just found out Florida oranges now have antibiotics in them. I was raised in Florida and used to love the roadside fresh OJ. Right around the time I left the citrus greening disease struck and since then orange groves have been decimated. They've imported the wasp that eats the insects that spread the disease, created new varieties, are working on GMO varieties that either knockout genes or add genes so the tree creates its own chemicals toxic to the insects that infect the trees, and they also inject antibiotics in to the trees "circulatory systems", which means the oranges themselves have antibiotics in them.
