Mininster for Natural Resources, Mines and Minerals Dr TK Prabhu suspends operation of 18 out of 54 stone quarries, functioning across Tenkasi district, over violation of mining rules. This is based on first phase of inspection conducted by three teams of officials.

During his wee-hour surprise inspection, Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Minerals @drtkprabhu_TVK inspected the movement of mineral-laden trucks to Kerala, verified transit passes, and inquired about the strength of police personnel deployed there. He also inspected a weighbridge and checked whether the weight mentioned in the pass matched the actual weight of the truck and minerals. The combined weight of the truck and minerals was found to be around 54,000 kg for 18-wheeled vehicles. The inspection lasted from 1 am to 2 am.

Vijay fans supported Karupp as a thanks giving for the support Surya fans given in election, that definitely reflected on Karupp collection. So saying Vijay is nothing infront of Surya may trigger them.
