This is gaslighting. How did he end up in CBP custody? Your home county *chose* to alert them to detain him because *you* failed to enact New York 4 All, which would have prevented that.

The conventional portrayal was that Mamdani was putting the charms on Hochul, but now it looks like the reverse: she successfully charmed HIM. I hope @ZohranKMamdani got some deal for his agenda, including tax the rich. Otherwise this makes no sense to me so early. No leverage.

Even with good intentions, this endorsement is a bad deal: a one-off childcare promise pulled from reserves, no plan to tax the rich, and donors put first. We should tax the ultra-wealthy and corporations and fund universal childcare in the budget. Not with couch-cushion money.
