However, even if it's true about his IQ, you still need to explain why kids improve so much faster. Surely all these 14-year-olds can't score higher on an IQ test than the adults.

Men have bigger brains than women and, despite what you've been told, are slightly higher IQ on average.

World no. 2 Hikaru Nakamura has said that his IQ is 102. That's why kids improve so much faster. Neuroplasticity.
