पाठक बना पापी हत्यारा। यूपी के फिरोजाबाद में जितेंद्र पाठक नामक हैवान अपनी मामी की बहू से जबरन शादी करना चाहता था। बहू ने मना किया तो जितेंद्र पाठक टॉफी दिलाने के बहाने उसके डेढ़ साल के बच्चे को अपने साथ ले गया और गली में सन्नाटा देखकर उसे 8 बार जमीन पर पटका। दरिंदा बच्चे को तब तक पीटता रहा, जब तक कि उसकी जान नहीं चली गई। दरअसल, महिला रति अपने डेढ़ साल के बच्चे आरव के साथ अपनी मौसी के घर गई थी। तीन साल पहले रति की शादी सुनीत से हुई थी। चूंकि ससुराल वाले महिला के साथ मारपीट करते थे, इसलिए विवाद के चलते रति अपनी मां के साथ मायके में रहती थी। इसी बीच सुनीत की बुआ का बेटा जितेंद्र पाठक रति से एकतरफा प्यार करता था। वह उसे पाना चाहता था, इसलिए उस पर लगातार दबाव बनाता रहता था। लेकिन रति ने कहा कि वह शादीशुदा है और उसका एक बच्चा भी है, अतः वह उससे शादी नहीं कर सकती। स्त्रीद्वेषी मनुवादी मानसिकता का जितेंद्र पाठक इस बात को बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सका कि एक महिला उस जैसे मेरिटधारी को रिजेक्ट कैसे कर सकती है। अतः उसने टॉफी दिलाने के बहाने रति के बेटे आरव को अपने साथ ले गया और उसे पूरी ताकत से जमीन पर करीब 8 बार पटका। वह बच्चे को तब तक पीटता रहा, जब तक कि उसकी मौत नहीं हो गई। मां रो-रोकर बेहाल है। उसके तो ससुराल वाले उसके साथ मारपीट करते हैं। अब यही बच्चा उस मां का आखिरी सहारा था। ऐसे रक्तपिपासु हैवान का धरती पर खुला घूमना पूरी मानवता के लिए खतरा है। बताइए भला, डेढ़ साल के मासूम बच्चे का क्या दोष था? कथित मेरिटधारी दरिंदा जितेंद्र पाठक की मानसिकता अन्य बच्चों की सुरक्षा के लिए भी बड़ा खतरा है। ऐसे दरिंदों को धरती पर जीने का कोई हक नहीं है। प्रशासन से हमारी मांग है कि इस दरिंदे को उसके अपराध की उचित सजा अवश्य मिले।
