@bookofthefates The point was more about the time frame those guys spent at their initial teams without a chip win b4 changes were made , similar to Luka . Teams have taken chances b4 is the point . Luka was not exempt & people can’t take it . I get it but it’s not just one way to see it .

@ImChriStyle Neither Dame, Melo, Trae reached the finals and all them mfs only reached conference finals once. Only Bron & KD won soon after becoz they both had a superteam. So not sure what kind of point u tryna make here except Luka is getting to Bron/KD level.

@bookofthefates Bron played 7 seasons in Clvlnd / Dame played 10 in Portland / KD , 9 seasons in OKC / Melo , 7 seasons in Denver , Luka 7 in DAL , now Trae 7yrs in atl . . there is a consistency to this . . they all saw a conference finals b4 switching teams around the same time in career

@ImChriStyle The Mavs made 2 conference finals, 1 finals appearance in last 5 years. Now ever since they traded Luka away, AD played less than 30 games and is on track to miss the playoffs for second straight year. So please entertain me why it makes sense for Mavs to do that trade

@bookofthefates A.D. has been haunted by injury for yrs but when healthy he helps LA get a chip , not an appearance Ky is also a champ. Call it cliche but we haven’t seen them . You don’t beat Boston with the 23/24 Luka team so what free agent do you pickup esp with the Luka contract ?

My point in my response to that other guy was we can come up with multiple reasons why they loss but simply put the better TEAM won .

The rest of the team coupdnt make a damn 3 to save their lives. Kyrie was a no show that series. Mavs played their worst shooting series of the playoffs, missing open looks

Ironically around the same time . Dame , KD , Bron , all had a conference finals appearances by yr 8-10
