With Evan Kinney being laid off, Fortnite OG - Season 8 may be in trouble.
Digsites, Runes, and Unvaulting Event all used MeshNetwork, which was something Evan made and knew all the ins and outs to. Him being laid off could lead to an extreme amount of issues.

The downturn in Fortnite engagement that started in 2025 means we're spending significantly more than we're making, and we have to make major cuts to keep the company funded.
