Four years have passed since I stood united with the World of #Warcraft team to help craft Azeroth. The drums of war thunder once again... I am incredibly excited to announce that I have returned to #WoW as a Principal Designer II!

Mr. Danuser, from the bottom of my heart thank you very much for everything that you did for us during your time at Epic. I've gone over many scenarios of this moment in my mind of wanting to write a big thank you to you, I was hoping it would be under better circumstances but unfortunately we are in this situation. I just want you to know that we appreciate all of the wonderful stories you had written & given us. Thank you for re-igniting that spark of hope in all of us when things began to look so bleak for this story. Even if it lasted for just a year & a half. You gave us so much, especially with Chapter 7's storyline. All the cinematics, the incredibly investing story with the Dark Voyager & more, they were wonderful and I'm very glad I was able to experience them. You have also deeply inspired me. For the past two years I have been completely undecided about what I wanted to do as my major in College, but your work has inspired me to pursue an English major. I hope to one day become a writer, and possibly even a narrative director like you one day. All in all, I just want to say you left a big impact on this community even if your time here was short. I am so terribly sorry you and the other employees who were laid off today have to go through this all, none of you deserved this at all. But I only wish you the very best moving forward. Rough day. Thanks for all the kind thoughts and mentions. I want to say that since my arrival on the Fortnite team, the game’s story community has been nothing but stellar towards me. You all made me feel very welcome. It was fun being part of an amazing team of storytellers.

@SteveNiles The first comics I got as a kid were Spider-Man, and the artist was John Romita. In a tangible way, he defined how I thought about superheroes. He’ll always be one of the giants to me.
