Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) keeps getting dismissed over a thirty-second origin gag, while the rest of the film just moves. Train heist, Donald Glover locking into Lando & a crew dynamic that actually clicks. It never really got judged on what it is.

Movie time is supposed to be a shared experience
a story that unfolds, where missing information is revealed later on for dramatic effect.
Movies and shows are supposed to immerse you in this way for an emotional effect.
If you do not pay attention to a movie,
you know like scrolling on your phone…
it is super ignorant to ask questions during it. You ruined what the whole thing is supposed to be.
