@ianmiles I would disagree. Debate isn't his strong suit and he's passionate about a subject that matters to millions. He's trying to bring light to a subject that is suppressed by the ultra wealthy.

It’s legitimately painful to watch an economically illiterate trader have a debate on taxes with somebody who actually knows what he’s talking about.

The simple answer is $600 in nominal realized profit: $300 from the first transaction and $300 from the second. This is basic math and even a kid could answer it. But the true economic profit depends on the time between transactions, carrying costs, taxes, inflation, opportunity cost, financing costs, and whether the cow generated any income like milk or calves. Without those details, $600 is only the accounting profit, not necessarily the real return.

I repeat: The U.S. sent thousands of its 19 years old soldiers to die in Normandy, to free Europe and to end the biggest crime against humanity ever commited - by Europeans. It was just 81 years ago. The whole reason, France, Benelux etc. 🇫🇷 exist today is because of this heroism. My grandparents could grow up in a liberal democracy. Without the U.S. they would be raised at the H*tler Youth. We Europeans would still be in wars again and again, like 1914, 1866, 1870, 1795 etc. They brought peace, democracy, liberty and human rights. They invested billions of U.S. Dollars into Europe with the Marshall Fund. They gave us more than we ever had in our history before. They protected us for 7 decades with hundreds of thousands of soldiers against the cruelties of the Soviet Union. The terror we can see nowadays in Donetsk, would have happened in Bavaria, Bourgogne or the Netherlands in 1950 if there wasn’t the U.S. 🇺🇸 Who do we Europeans think we are to let that nation down, act like bad allies, calling their President names every day on television - and have full confidence we stand better alone. All of instagram is just about, why we’re better than the U.S. We owe them so much. We Europeans are most arrogant species on earth. And to cure this we have to face the truth.

@_HenryBolton @FalkTG Who did the heavy lifting? The USA and Russia. The British were in large part responsible for the war despite the lies we have been told.

@FalkTG You started an illegal war without discussion. We already blindly followed you to Iraq and Afghanistan and lost hundreds of men and women. Who are you to be the agresser, to start a war that you said you could win in days and then cry when no one wants to help you be a bully...

I am not sure the American military establishment has fully grasped what Trump has actually done here. So let me spell it out in language even a Pentagon procurement officer can understand. Europe has been buying American weapons at a staggering rate. In 2024 alone, US foreign military sales notifications to European countries hit $76 billion. Four times the European average since 2008. F-35s, missile systems, air defence, ammunition. All of it American. All of it coming with decades of service contracts, maintenance agreements, spare parts, software updates and training programmes worth hundreds of billions more over their operational lifetimes. Between 2020 and 2024, the United States supplied 64 percent of all European weapons imports. That is now over. Europe has an $860 billion defence plan, and American contractors are being frozen out. The goal is 80 percent of all military purchases from European factories by 2030. Airbus. Rheinmetall. KNDS. Saab. Leonardo. BAE Systems. They are about to receive the largest order book in the history of European defence industry. Because Trump made it politically impossible for any European government to keep writing cheques to Washington. Some European governments have discussed worries that the Pentagon could remotely disable American F-35 fighters or impose restrictions on how US weapons can be used. When your supplier is also threatening to annex your allies, that is not paranoia. That is basic procurement logic. Trump set out to make America great again. He has succeeded magnificently. For Rheinmetall. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

When Trump says the US always comes to Britain and NATO’s rescue but never vice versa what is he referring to? Because 1,148 non-US troops died in Afghanistan including 457 Brits. In Iraq 318 non-US troops died including 179 Brits. To this day British forces are stationed across the Middle East going on daily high risk missions. This is the tired old American mentality that the US saved Britain in WW1 and WW2 when really the British suffered 8x the deaths in WW1 and more deaths than the US suffered in WW2. Not to mention that the US joined WW1 nearly 3 years into the war and WW2 over 2 years into the war so our boys fought alone as the US watched on for half a decade across both wars. So quite frankly the Americans who spout this nonsense can go fuck themselves.

@MotowarriorX @Currentreport1 @Keir_Starmer Yes, too many times have we been led into illegal wars over oil. You state you're the almighty US of A and attacked without consulting your allies, you don't then get to ask for some help because you realised you fucked up.

@Keir_Starmer Congratulations you proved Trump right! He knew you and the rest of Europe would sit on the sidelines. Time for the U.S. to pull out of NATO. Second time you turned on the U.S.! Your was ready to fight the US over Greenland and Now you are unwilling to safeguard your own ships. You came to Ukraine’s aid and beg the U.S. for its money and support. You are a snake!
